About Me
I am a missionary kid (MK). I have lived on three continents—America, Africa and Asia. As a child I lived for six years on a mission field in Zambia, Africa. As an adult I followed my missionary husband to Hong Kong, China. There I studied Cantonese, and raised four MKs of our own. After 16 years in Hong Kong my family moved to America. I presently live and attend church in the greater Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. I have four grown children, and I am a grandma.
My first career involved caring for the body. I worked in intensive care units as a registered nurse. Over time, as God has helped me to re-dream my dreams, He called me into caring for people’s emotional and psychological well-being. Now I bring all that I have learned from both of these areas into the work of caring for people’s spiritual well-being and the formation of their souls.
It has been an unexpected journey.
